Red, white and blue Ginger Sparklers are a refreshing and festive way to celebrate. What better way to celebrate the Fourth of July or summer in general than to enjoy this tasty, fruity mocktail. It is a classic red, white and blue layered drink with the cool sparkle of ginger ale and zing of ginger.
Servings 2 people
- 12 oz ginger ale
- ½ cup blueberries
- ½ cup strawberries
- 2 Tb. Grenadine syrup
- 1 ½ cups crushed ice
- ½ tsp grated ginger
Place 1 Tbs. grenadine syrup in each glass.
Slice the strawberries and carefully position on top of the syrup, dividing between the two glasses.
Add about ¾ crushed ice to each serving.
Pour half the ginger ale into each glass, slowly and carefully pouring over the back of a tablespoon. This will help keep the syrup at the bottom and keep the layers separate.
Then add the blueberries to the top of the glass. You can use frozen or fresh.
Finally, garnish with the grated ginger.
